journal: I think I saw it in a magazine once - the rug placed over the outdoors steps during summer - I loved the idea and this year the rug is red. Our front steps is made of aluminum (or something like it) so the soft rug makes it so much better to walk with bare feet. And it's a really nice place to sit and soak up the last sunlight in the evening. I don't care if it gets messy, wet or worn - I'm keeping it there till fall knocks on my door.

That's really cool! I love that you scrapped about an every day item!! I hope it lasts longer than Fall because Red brings Autumn in perfectly! And it also works through Christmas!!
