Journaling: We didn't plan on seeing it, but we couldn't help it. You couldn't miss it - it was just there. The throngs of people trying to get near Michael Jackson's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He had died just a few days earlier so the people came. I went searching for Mickey Mouse's star, which I know from past visits is in front of Groman's Chinese Theater, but I could hardly find it. And that was because it was just steps away from Michael's star. There were people everywhere, from TV camera crews, to those people hawking programs and tees, to those who unknowingly became part of the people who just had to be near. And I never got my photo taken with Mickey's star. Maybe next time.
