Plum Dumpling Designs I make SM rock! Registered: August 2008 Location: Windy City Posts: 8,848	Mint Chocolate Chip by Haynay Designs Ingredients 1 box Devil's Food Cake Mix 2 Eggs 1/3 cup oil 1 jar frosting Combine cake mix, eggs and oil. Stir until moistened. Roll into 1 inch balls. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Do not overbake. Allow to cool 1 minute on sheet, then remove to cooling racks. When completely cooled, match cookies up by size. Put frosting in the middle of the cookies. Makes 18 sandwich cookies or 36 separate cookies. You can use any type of cake mix for this recipe. Another favorite is Funfetti cake mix. Prepare the same, and frost the top of each cookie. Enjoy!!!

Love the way you've scrapped it too!

You're going to have to tell me what Devil's Food Cake Mix is though! My evil cookie plans have come to a screaming halt on the first line of the ingredient list!

I am such a cheater when it come to cooking, and I forget that sometimes people might not have access to these ingredients! Devil's Food Cake is a type of chocolate cake. I usually use any box of cake mix. That way it has the flour, sugar (whatever else it is that they put in there) already. If you have access to a box of cake mix, then you can use any of the flavors!
