Journaling: These photos were taken a few weeks before your first birthday. At this point you still wanted to be rocked, cuddled, and nursed to sleep for naps and night time. On this day you were one tired little guy. There was a big blanket on the couch and you curled up with it, asked for your pacifier and fell asleep with your toy gorilla. I was so surprised that you fell asleep without me (so surprised I took these photos). Watching you grow up is bittersweet. I love experiencing your growth, but it means that you are becoming less and less of a baby. As you get older you may not need me to do as many things for you, but remember you will always be my baby. I will probably always visualize you as this cute little guy. Sweet dreams sweet boy!
