Here is how the journaling reads:

At Warren Beach State Park Mike
decided he wanted to try and carry
Sam to the top of the huge dune. He
made it about 3/4 of the way up and
began to lose steam. He and Sam sat
down on a log. A young man made his
way over to to Mike and asked if he
could help him get Sam to the top.
Mike hesitated, but realized he
could not do it on his own. A group
of the young man’s friends
gathered around, cheering them on
and taking turns carrying Sam
....all the way to the top!
We will never forget that day.......
the blessing we received from the
kindness of strangers and the
lessons learned about humility
and our own weaknesses.
