After working on homework for about 45 minutes, Avery was in desperate need of a break so I told her she could play for a few minutes. She asked to "borrow a little wrapping paper" and of course I said no problem. Needless to say, I was quite surprised when she asked for help "taping up the back of her paper" but "be sure NOT to look" while doing it! Imagine my surprise when I realized she used an entire (big) role of Christmas wrapping paper to wrap herself up! She had the best time tearing that paper off from the inside out and it was certainly a welcome break from the grind of a few hours of homework!
