Ingredients:
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 large eggs, slightly beaten
1 heaping cup pecan halves
1 pie shell, unbaked, 9-inch

Directions:
1. Pour the pecans in pie shell.
2. Mix the rest of the ingredients together in a bowl and pour over the pecans.
3. Put tin foil around the crust so it won't burn and bake for 45 mins at 350 F.
4. Cook until the center is thickened but not hard and let it cool completely before eating.
