Journaling Reads:
The summer before high School was a very fun one. I was close friends with Camie, Amber, Dusty, Cory and Justin. I loved my group of friends. They were all a year ahead of me in school, so I was anxious to finally be in high school with them! We hung out almost every night that summer. They could all drive already so that was fun. They were my saftey net going in to high school, so I wasn’t really scared at all.

Also, I was a “prop” in the Marching Band my sophmore year, which meant I carried the banner in the parades over the summer and just assisted the Color Guard. I made tons of friends in the band.

Having a bit more freedom in High School was awesome. I started taking Driver’s Ed. my first semester. Being able to choose elective courses was great. I shared a locker with one of my good neighborhood friends, Marci. I was excited to have an open lunch hour. My friends & I would leave campus and grab lunch at Wendy’s or even at someone’s house. But we had to hurry! The lunch hour wasn’t that long.

I wasn’t very into the clicques and drama that came along with high school. I sort of stayed out of it actually. But, I had fun friends as I entered High School and I remember feelings quiet happy and optomistic entering high school.
