On November 18, 2009, at 2:42 a.m., over 3,000 students, faculty, alumni, and families gathered to honor the students who died in the Texas A&M bonfire collapse 10 years ago. The memorial was built on the site of the collapse. Each archway represents a life lost early that morning. Each candle represents a prayer for those who died and for those left behind.
