It had been a very long time since we had had a baby in the house, or since Mommy had nursed anyone. A trick we had learned and used before was to feed you breastmilk through a dropper for a few days to recouperate. Even though the midwives did a very thorough checkup on you when you were born and at the 2 day visit, they always suggest that a new baby be seen by its pediatrician. We took you to seeDr. Hunke and you checked out perfect -just like we thought! We bundled you up really well for your first car ride. This was a fancy car seat/baby cover, that I thought I just had to have and later gave away. ![]() |
