My entry for this week's new "My Story Matters" challenge!

When in doubt - be nice. There’s that old saying, “It’s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice". I definitely know that is true! I was pretty much always a “nice” girl growing up, and I learned that when you’re nice to others, you end up surround yourself with nice people. I stayed out of the cliquey high school drama and was nice! Just be nice. It’s such a simple concept. Instead of being judgemental, critical, or rude, chose to be nice. It’s a choice you can make every day. It was not easy to be nice to some people. And I could have been nicer. Especially to my brothers. Take care not to offend or do or say an unkind thing to others. It’s not always “cool” to be nice. But in the end you’ll always come out on top when you chose to be nice. |
