Journaling: Beautiful is the only word that I can use to describe a winter sunrise in the Green Mountains of Vermont on the morning after a snowfall. Once I looked out the window and saw the beauty of the colors, I knew that I had to go take some photos. I had gotten up early so I could be all ready before I had to rouse the family for another day of skiing. It's the time of the morning that I love best - when everyone else is asleep and I can enjoy some peace and quiet before the day really begins. Seeing this stunning landscape was the perfect way to start the day.
