And that’s Lagoon. My family went to Lagoon nearly every summer when I was growing up. I have many fond memories of my whole family riding Collosal, Tidal Wave, Paratroopers, Rock-O-Planes, the giant ferris wheel, and many more rides. We all love roller coasters and rides, so we had a great time. In the very back of the park is Pioneer Village, an old west town with shops, a wild west shoot out show and my favorite part - the old-timey photo studio! My dad surprised us all by splurging one summer and letting my entire family dress up and take an old west photo. It was such a fun family event. I loved getting to hold the gun and getting to dress up like a saloon girl. All those boys were given rugged cowboy outfits, but Christian made a point to ask for a “rich guy“ costume. He had to be different and fancy. It was a crack up! Everyone loved taking this picture. Its something I cherish, along with the memory of having it taken. |
