Here is the cover to my art journal using a Visual Art Journal. I am adhering my layouts to the thick pages throughout the book which measures roughly 8x11.5 inches. I've popped this into the Hybrid Gallery although I haven't used any digi goodies, just stuff from my paper scrapping stash!

Because the cover of this was plastic, I thought I'd use some sticky canvas by Claudine Hellmuth as the base then I have used Mod Podge to stick my collage of papers on. I used an assortment of papers but they are mostly Daisy D's.

I had some Heidi Swapp tapes that I used to break up the joins along with an assortment of stamps to add more images and quotes to the papers.

I used plenty of Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Black Soot and Vintage Photo to age the papers and give them a nice grungy look.

I have used Mod Podge again over the top of the whole cover. To make sure that it stayed put and I used some black Making Memories staples to hold it to the cover.

For my embellishments at the bottom, I have used some Daisy D's diecut flowers, a Prima flower, a coupon and a Ghost Shape bird from Heidi Swapp. I've also grunged up some word strips from K&Co.

Think that was most of my supplies covered but I had so much fun putting this together!
