Journaling Reads: I could not WAIT to turn 16 years old. I had many friends who were all 16 already. I was anxious to be able to start dating and driving. I had a “first date” already set up with a boy I had a crush on. We were going to go to a dance at school. My mom took me to buy an entire brand new outfit. My dad even got a car that I was going to be driving! I just couldn’t wait to be sixteen.

I love this picture and me and Cameron taken on my birthday. I think its it’s so cute how we’re holding up sixteen fingers between the two of us. I don’t remember what is inside those packages, I wish I did! But I do remember the excitement and anticipation I felt when I turned sweet sixteen!
