This isn't an easy page for me to do - about Dad's Memorial service. Or Homecoming, as he wanted it called. It all seemed so surreal. We knew that he didn't have long left on this earth, but it wasn't easy when he went to be with Jesus in Heaven. But that is the blessing - knowing that he is there for eternity, and that we will be with him again someday. It was a wonderful service. I couldn't tell you what people said or the songs that Randy sang, but it was a true celebration of the man he was here on earth. And maybe another day I'll be able to write more about it, but right now it's just still too fresh. But I love you, Dad. And I miss you something fierce. And we're taking care of Mom for you, too. Thank you for all you did for us and all you were. I wouldn't have had it any other way.Bye, Daddy! I'll be seeing you later.xoxo
