Journaling: You are not allowed to laugh. Not one bit. Because this is me, on skis for the first time in 32 years. And I happened to choose a winter with blustery temperatures. The day the bip photo was taken? Well, let's just say that it was about 5 degrees with a 20 below wind chill factor there on top of Stratton Mountain. That's why you can't see my face. The small photo was taken on my first day of lessons on December 24. It was a balmy 25 degrees. But I did it - braved bodily harm by going out and actually skiing again. I'm proud of myself! It was fun, I must admit. And maybe next time we go skiing, I'll actually be able to keep up with the rest of my family. Imagine that.
