Journaling Reads: This is me sleeping in my little yellow bed that my dad made for me. When my parents found out they were having the twins, my dad started making me this little bed. The day they were born he was putting the finishing coat of paint on it when my mom called to tell him her water broke. Mom says that they were super proud of this little bed and thought it was the cutest youth bed they’d ever seen. They even had a custom mattress made to fit it. I had such strong memories of that green and yellow quilt (tied by my mom), that wallpaper and my awesome Raggedy Ann & Andy sheets. All classics from my childhood bedroom.
