Today was the first day we ventured out to see some of India. It was our first time experiencing the crowds of people, the persistent attempts of street vendors to sell you something, and the unwelcome attention that being a foreigner gets you. The heat was oppressive and before we’d even gotten out of the taxi, my pants were already sticking to the back of my legs. I just remember feeling a little overwhelmed the whole day, although I was determined to be a good sport no matter what happened.
