Neverland Scraps![]() |
Josh and I were able to celebrate our anniversary this year, although it was a day late. Moving down to the South, we knew it would be hard to find a babysitter who wasn't too expensive and one we could trust. Thankfully, God gave us a home near the Hubbards.
James and Kayla are a young couple, but due to some medical issues her mother, Mary, and sister, Jo-Jo came to live with them. Over the months, we became really good friends with each other. We were all very sad to see them move away towards the end of the year due to mold-issues in their house. Even though they were moving two streets down, we were sure that we would never see each other. However, time has proven us to be wrong. Even though we do not see each other several times a day, we are able to visit every so often. For our anniversary, Mary offered to babysit the girls so that Josh and I could celebrate tweleve years together. We made sure it was a daytime date and we werent out very long so that it was an easy job for Mary. Josh and I went to the theater to see Avatar, which was a decent movie but one we will not add to our collection. After the movie, we headed to Outback where we ate our usual 9oz Special and Bloomin' Onion. It was a good date, one we were very thankful to spend with each all because of God's timing!
