Journaling: I never thought that my hobby & my career would collide into such a beautiful job. I loved elementary school teaching: 5th and 6th grade was challenging, exciting and fun. When I got pregnant & Dave was going back to school I knew we would need some income to help us out, but I still wanted to be a mother at home. I started looking into part-time positions & I saw a PE position at Sharon Elementary (only 4 blocks from our house!). I got an interview the very moment I called. Without any prep for a PE position I was really nervous, but as I talked I realized what a vast amount of experience & knowledge I really have in fitness & sports. I love teaching the whole school (but the uppers are still my favorite). And who doesn’t love being everyone’s favorite class?
