Walking through the
Arab Market in the
Old City was serious
culture shock. It was
the only place in Israel
that really felt foreign.
Some stalls sold meat w/
butchers ready to carve
what you want to buy and
a chunk of meat hanging
without refrigeration.
Other stalls had exotic
spices, fruits, or nuts
in beautiful assortments!
Some areas sold amazing
tapestries and fabrics.
It was an amazing place
of unique fragrances
and visuals! What an
experience. Loved it!
