Journaling reads: Friday, Lisa and I took Karla and Brianna to play at Kangarooz. They had fun on the jumping slides! Then when I got home to do more schoolwork (since our teachers thought we would have tons of free time while on our break), Mr. Nick called and said he had been in a wreck. We went to check on him and he didn’t want to go to the hospital by ambulance so we took him. We spent Friday night in the emergency room from about 4;30 til 10:30. They did x-rays and sure enough, he broke his foot. The four bones in his foot are broken. He wasn't bleeding anywhere, just his foot was black and blue. He said it was because he got mad when he realized he wrecked and punched on his breaks so hard and said “that idiot done ruined my car!” What a way to break a foot! The rest of the weekend was spent at home doing nothing but catch up on school work and house cleaning! Mr. Nick sure is miserable though! He can’t do anything until Monday when he goes to the orthopedic doctor.
