Journaling reads: Every year when spring break rolls around, I have a long list of to do’s, but somehow that list never get accomplished! I always plan on some family time with my mom because she lives in Laurel and comes and stays with us to visit my grandma. Well the week started out good-family time, being lazy, and just enjoying spending time with each other. Karla thoroughly enjoyed her time with Maw-maw and mom enjoyed her time here too. She was excited to see my broom stand in the kitchen. The magical broom always amazes everyone when they come here. Then, our luck ran south! The garbage disposal stopped up and when we tried to unstop it the pipes under the kitchen sink came loose and water went everywhere! So we had to fix the pipes. We found termites in our utility room, so $1,005 later we will get a treatment on the house-then I am moving! If it isn’t one thing it is something else. Monday, Karla went for her eye appointment and had to get a new prescription and new glasses. She was excited though because she couldn’t see so good out of her old ones. On about Tuesday, my sinuses went wacko and now my ear has been stopped up ever since. Wednesday, I had homework to do for my night class that is at a different college that wasn’t on spring break at the same time as my main college. Then I had night class, but one good thing came from that-our fourth test in Calculus is a take home graphing test! Yay! I needed that so I can get an easy A! Thursday we went to pick up Karla’s new glasses.
