Journaling: Easter has always been my favorite time of the year because it is when we take the day to celebrate the promise of eternal life given freely to us through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ or Lord. We always begin the day at church - how I love singing all those hymns - before returning home for a special dinner and to let the kids dig into their Easter baskets and take the time to marvel once again at the newness of life that Spring brings to the earth.
