Journaling: Yesterday Charlotte came home from school with a hazelnut tree that she received from the GEMS group. She was so excited about it that she skipped the whole way home! She wanted to plant it in the backyard, but we don't have the room for it there. So today I went to Meadows Farms and got all the necessary stuff for her to plant it in a pot. She couldn't wait to get started on it. She followed all my directions perfectly, and after a few minutes had a newly planted tree of her own.
