My daughter spent the day writing up a newspaper on sheets of lined paper. When she had me read it, she said she was writing a paper. I recommended to her that we scrap her words and photos so that we could keep them forever. Today, she and I scrapped this layout. The articles were written by my 8-year old daughter and all fictious


First/Main Article: Webkinz Love, a girls tale
I love my Webkinz! I have a pinto named Rocky Road, Black Stallion
named Licorice, Ribbon Unicorn named Sparkles, Lion named Lex,
Lazy Zum named Lazi Boy, Bulldog named Daddy Pug, Golden
Retriever named McNugget and a whole lot more! My last Webkinz
was Lazi Boy and Lex. I got a lot of Webkinz for Christmas and
hopefully I will get a lot more for my birthday in August. I currently
have a four-page wishlist. I have a few Webkinz on the computer:
Sparkle Daddy, which was my first Webkinz, Chocolate, Charlotte,
Lovie and Rocky Road. Next month, I will be putting Lex on the
computer as he is April's Pet of the Month. Webkinz is very fun. I
especially like the Wish Factory. When you get ten tokens, you are
able to make a wish. I only have six tokens, but hope that I'll get to
ten soon so that I can finally make my wish! I love all of my Webkinz!


Second Article: Webkinz of the month: April
The Webkinz of the month
for April is the lion. After
searching several stores
for the lion, I finally found
him at FYE and added him
to my collection. My lion is
name named Lex. He is Dex
Dangerous' brother. Sometimes Lex goes to space
with Dex. This Article is about Lex and Dex in space
last Thursday. Lex and Dex were in separate space ships.
As they were flying around in outer space, Lex realized he had
no more fuel to man the space ship. Because he did not have the fuel to
keep his space ship in the air, he came crashing down into Earth. As he
safely landed, he landed into a cat's pajama party. Lex was a little
uncomfortable as he is a lion and not a cat. Not quite sure what the other
cats would think of him, he politely introduced himself. The cats were
instantly in love with Lex and after some time, Lex became part of the cat's
pajama party. From pillow fights, to popcorn and a movie, the cats included
him in every activity, including doing Lex's mane and painting his toe nails!
Lex truely is everyone's hero as he has show in this adveture by becoming
the cat's meow! Tune in next week for exciting adventures with Lex and Dex

Article three- What a Lazy Boy
Lazi Boy is a Sum, a Lazy Zum from Webkinz. This
article takes places at a Zum House. Lazi Boy's
happiness was only at 69%. He was happy, but not
that happy to have a party. Lazi Boy is a very good
Zum. He likes to sleep a lot, which is how he got his
name. He'd rather sleep instead of cleaning his
room, shopping for new toys or even to have friends
come over for playdates! Lazi Boy's has a good friend
named, Lex. Lex is not a Zum; he's a Webkinz that
goes on adventures and share them with Lazi Boy.
Lazi Boy's best Zum-Friend is Trixie. They do a lot
of things together, sharing secrets, and playing when
Lazi Boy is not doing her favorite thing-sleeping.


Article four: You are one lazy Zum
Trixie is a Zum, a Tricky
Zum from Webkinz. Trixie
lives in a Zum House. Her
Happiness meter when you
first meet her is 65%
happy. She is very hard
to please, make happy and
keep happy. One wrong
action sends her meter
right back to 65%. Trixie
is a very bad Zum. She
enjoys tricking other Zums
and Webkinz. Because of
her actions, she is often perceived as being a mean Zum. She does
not mean to be mean, but being tricky is her nature. Trixie's
good friend is Max. Max is not a Zum, but a Webkinz Old English
Sheepdog who puts up with Trixie's tricking. Trixie's best Zum-
Friend is Lazi Boy. Trixie enjoys Lazi Boy's friendship because
Lazi Boy always tells her the stories that he hears from Lex
Dangerous on his many adventures. Trixie and Lazi Boy are complete
opposites which is how they are able to get along so well. Most of
the time that Trixie is playing tricks on other Zums and Webkinz,
Lazi Boy is fast asleep, not even aware of the actions. Trixie
often gets in most of her trouble when Lazi Boy is sleeping,
because that is when she is most bored and seeking companionship.
