We’ve been having so much fun with our grab bags and winter holiday kick-off sale that we decided to continue it for one more day.  Everything in the store is 30% off except for the grab bags which are only $3.00.

Things are hopping around here.  We’re busy planning our challenges for the next few months as well as expanding our forums.  We hope to have a calendar shortly where you can find out in advance when all the sales will be, what the challenges will be etc!

We also have some fun new designers joining us with some exciting new products!  Yay!  So stay tuned for more info…

We are also curious what your favorite kind of challenges are–what gets you in the mood to create.  What types of challenges stretch your imagination and make you really want to participate?  Do you participate for freebies, for feedback?  Please let us know by leaving a comment here or commenting in the challenge forum.  We value your input and really want to know what you want.

For our international visitors here in the US–Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, is the official start of the Christmas shopping season. It is called Black Friday because, supposedly, it is the first day of the calendar year that the stores make a profit or are in the “black.”

We are so excited to announce our new CT!  We were overwhelmed with both the quantity and quality of applications we received. It was a tough decision to make…but we did.  We think you will all be amazed at the creativity and photographic talent of all the team members–new and old.  We’d really like to thank Danica, Henriette, Marci and Morgan for sticking in there with us and are so glad they were willing to continue on.

Now as excited as we are to have a terrific CT to post layouts that will inspire you, we want to see your layouts in the gallery.  Our gallery is for everyone, we welcome all scrapbook layouts featuring products from all designers–no blatant advertising please.  Although we love it when you scrapbook with “our” stuff, we realize that there are lots of terrific designers out there in digiland. So please share your layouts, ideas and comments with us.  Tell us what products you want, what products you scrap with, inspire us…

Just wanted to let you know what a blast we are having looking over all of the entries in the CT and DT calls. What a bunch of talented scrappers you are. We feel so honored that you have joined our community here at ScrapMatters. We’ve had over 1000 downloads of our Peace & Quiet kit!!! While we’re very excited about the number of downloads, we haven’t gotten over 1000 applicants, so if you are interested, don’t be put off by the number.
