Teresa here- When I had the chance to write again for Words for Wednesday, I immediately thought about some of the funny things our girls have said that I HAVE NOT scrapped yet! I keep thinking Oh, I will get the perfect picture to scrap with that funny comment and I wait and wait and wait.

Well I realize how many of them I have forgotten or am having a really hard time remembering. I am determined this week to scrap at least two of them… one for each of my girls. What about you, what things have your children or the kids in your life said, that left you laughing. Join me in scrapping them so that we can all share in the fun of the funny things that kids say.

Here are a few of mine that I have to scrap:

We were at the zoo walking around on a warm day and my then two year old said, “Mommy, I am dripping!” It took me a second and I looked over to her and she repeated it wiping the sweat off of her head. I thought that was so cute and a precious way for her to describe how hot she was.

Our youngest, everything to her is last year! I am used to this and now can easily to the brain translation reminding myself that we COULD be talking about last year or we most likely are talking about last week, yesterday, earlier this morning, or just before nap. It just means it is in the past… to her that is last year. And I guess if you reset your year and just look at your year as a 365 day block of time it technically could be.

A sad one but she got the point across, just last week our sweetie came to us and said, I think my tummy is going to come out of my mouth. She did not know throw up but described what would be happening. I hope that did not gross you out… it was just a precious Kids Say the Funniest Things moment!

The last one I will share now is… each morning we say to our youngest, “Good Morning!” she replies with “Good Morning Too” … it is like I Love You and I Love You Too! She does not know there is a difference… just love watching these sweet things we hear from our kids.
