Words… how ’bout this week we use lots of them???

I like journaling, I really do! But sometimes, even with liking it, I get so caught up in the artistic side of creating a layout that I end up thinking the journaling would just take away from the design of it all. I want though my children and family to not only see the photos and pages but be able to read about what it was like, who was there, all that fun stuff that adds a little extra challenge to fit it in on a page.

This week why don’t we all make a layout that focuses on journaling. You will see from my layout this week that I made most of the page words and to keep them from taking over the design, I reduced the opacity a good bit but you can still read them easily when looking at the page.

Take pictures of everyday things that you may just take for granted so that in years to come when your memory fades or you have moved on to another place or your little ones grow up, they can look back and see where they were and then they can READ all about the things you shared together there.
