Hey there… sorry to be so late today getting this up. I have been doing my kindergartner’s class Mother’s Day gift. :) I took photos of all the children with their fist out and today added a digi flower to each photo.Soooo…. guess what we are doing tonight? Here is how you can add a digi flower or any other element you want easily to a photo.
I use my quick selection tool next. You could use your magnetic lasso, your magic want, or if you have the quick selection, use it… it is fast and easy. Seeing the running ants? you need to outline the area that you need above the flower stem…
now here hand is above that layer and we are closer to having her hold it but it is still not really realistic in a digi kinda way… once you have the hand above the stem, take your eraser and erase off the small part at the top for the thumb that if really holding the flower needs to be behind the stem….
that is it and you have a handheld digi flower ready to go.
I could not resist adding the pirates hat from Brittish Designs new pirate kit series! My daughter is flipping over those goodies.I hope you have fun adding digi elements to your photos and please share with us in the ScrapMatters gallery.See you soon!
