Alamama here for your Photo tip of the day. I am still a bit new to this, but I wanted to share with you a little of what I do to my photos to “enhance them.” These instructions are for PSE.
Let’s take your photos from this:

This is VERY easy. If I can do it, you can do it. It’s what I call it “Christine Do-Able”!!
- In the “Layers” section, Right-click on your photo.
- Duplicate Layer.
- Just above the picture, in the “Layers” section, see “Normal”? Click on that, when that opens, click on “Soft Light”. (You can change to Opacity Percentage until you get the look you like. I used 100% here.)
- Now, under your “Special Effects”, click “Photo Effects”.
- Then you’ll want to click “Tint Sepia”. (You can play with the Opacity Percentage here too. Again I used 100%.)
- Right-click on the top photo in your layers; click “Merge Visible”.
- Now click “Tint Sepia” again.
- Here I used Opacity of 64%. Play around until you get it the way you like.
