Hi everyone! It’s Shantell (aka shanscraps) from the ScrapMatters Gang. I’m here to bring you another wonderful spotlight. Today we are going to learn all about Kim. She’s one of our wonderful Hybrid CT members.

1. Your screen name? Your real name?

2. What is your main job/career?
I’m a Research technician at The Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital- the lab I belong to is working on treatments for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

3. Are you married/children/pets?
Married to Jeff, mom to Natalie (6) and Braeden (20 months), mom to kitty, Buff

4. Where is home for you?
Columbus, OH

5. What are your 3 favorite foods?
Seafood, caramel, and almost anything from the Japanese Steakhouse

6. What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Coffee

7. Snacks…Salty or Sweet?
usually sweet

8. Beverage of choice?
Hot apple cider in the fall/winter; Dr. Pepper any other time

9. What’s your least favorite food?
Anything really hot and spicy

10. PC or Mac? What program do you use?
PC, I use PSE 4

11. How long have you been digi-scrapping? How did you get started?
I dabbled with digital starting with 2006, but I finally got over the learning curve in February

12. What was your 1st LO about?
Jeff and Natalie

13. Do you have any other hobbies besides digi-scrapping (are there other hobbies)?
Scrapbooking is my main hobby, but I also enjoy cake decorating, figure skating, and playing computer games

14. What is the most challenging part of scrapbooking for you?
Finding time!! I would to be able to function on less sleep or for there to be more hours in a day

15. What would you like to learn to do (or do better) not related to scrapbooking?
I would love to learn ballroom dance- I need to convince DH that he’s more coordinated than he thinks

16. What are your favorite movies/TV shows?
My all time favorite TV show is The West Wing! I also watch Dancing with the Stars, Pushing Daisies, Grey’s Anatomy, and Life on Mars (I watch way too much TV)

17. Describe your “scrapping” environment. Music? TV in the background? Drinks? Snacks? Where?
I spend my evenings in the living room with my laptop, TV on in the background, and a beverage of one form or another

18. If you only had 2 elements to use on a LO, what would they be?
I love ribbon and flowers- I could use them on everything

19. Would you like to share a little known fact about you…?
I’m a native New Yorker- from Long Island!

20. Can you tell us a little about your scrappin’ style?
I consider myself a “meat and potatoes” kind of scrapper! LOL! Templates save me often, pulling colors from my photos into the layout, simple embellishment
