Saturday Special – Review

This week we are going to do something a little different, we learn a new tip or technique each week on Saturday. This week we are going to put to use those skills all into one layout, so the challenge is to show us 4 things you have learned from the Saturday Special all in one layout.

From me using Color My World from Chelle’s Creations; String from Make a Splash from Chelle’s Creations; Everyday Memories from Chelle’s Creations and Juno Designs (from July Newsletter); Border Dates from Erica Zane; Blocked Templates from Sahlin Studios; Crayon, Crayoff Alpha from Denise Beatty Originals
Uses: Healing Brush; Shadows; Create your own Word Art; Selective Blurring (on one of the photos), Intertwining and Using a Template
And finally we have this layout from Cristina also using Play All Day by Stolen Moments and Scraps by Jenn; Border Dates by Erica Zane and Stitched Newspaper Alpha by Mira Designs (our other August Guest Designer).
The techniques she used are: White space; Shadows; Inked Edges (which she had never used before); Layering; Size does matter with elements; and lastly Cristinas favorite Saturday Special Cutting Ribbon (or anything else)
