My name is Caroline and I am really excited to write my very first blog post for ScrapMatters. And I would ask you to overlook some mistakes I make, because English is not my native language.
It is already the middle of September. I can’t believe how time flies! I loved summer but autumn is so wonderful too, don’t you think? I just adore all these wonderful colors that you can discover in the nature. The leaves are turning into all shades of yellow, orange, red, brown and green and I think autumn also has a special “smell”. When it is cold but sunny I love to take a long walk and take my camera with me to capture all the wonderful colors the woods have to offer! I live in a rather big city but even here autumn shows everywhere.
So, if you have a little time in the next days, grab your camera and get outside, take a deep breath of autumn air and take pictures of all the wonderfully colored leaves you see and that inspire you. Maybe you can come back later on and use them for one of your autumn scrap pages!
Here is an inspirational photo I made. It was taken in the vineyards of the southernmost part of Austria. A wine producer here planted his wine that way that the natural colors form a heart in autumn. I just loved that.
