Welcome to the first Gallery Standout Showcase of 2013!  It’s my priviledge to share some fabulous layouts with you from this week’s GSO thread.  The ScrapMatters gallery is bursting with beautiful layouts and these were given a special shout-out by our very own community here.

First up is this beauty, Glee, by Carol (Iowan), whose layouts are often chosen for GSO and you can see why with this gorgeous layout!  Amber chose this GSO and said, “Ok – seriously – this is amazing! So so SO perfect in every way! The clustering, the photos.. You really knocked it out of the park with this one!”

Next we have this Tuesday Template layout by Jaqueline1976 who really knows how to combine papers!  Oriana nominated this wonderful layout and said, “WOW, I´m crazy about it! Love your shadows and the Christmas Colors! Great job on the template!”

This One Little Word layout by Karen32 is a fabulous mix of kits!  There are so many little details combined here to keep the eye moving and discovering yet another perfectly scrapped element!  Jaye treated us to this GSO and commented, “Amazing page Karen! I love all the layering and mixing of kits, great way to start documenting 2013.”

Tinci was wow’d by jennschultz’s, Breakfast Outdoors, Mix A Kit layout!  She said, “This is absolutely stunning page, perfect work!”  I think Jenn did a wonderful job capturing a great vacation memory!

Tinci also nominated this stunning Resolution layout by Jhari (omlialie) and I’m so glad she did!  The composition and perfect cropping of the beautiful photo are fantastic!  The sparkle and scatter of stars are awesome touches to make this layout complete!

Lastly, we have this beauty by Emmy (emmyxlou) who used the same designer spotlight kit as Jhari!  Amber said, “Absolutely gorgeous! Love the journaling, the photos, the composition.. Really REALLY well done!” when she chose Emmy’s layout.
