Good morning, everyone!  Can you believe it is March already? Debby here filling in for Dolores to bring you this week’s gallery standouts. Since this is Customer Appreciation Week here at ScrapMatters we are putting the spotlight on our member’s layout inspiration. You can find all of the GSO nominees here in this thread in the forum.

First up is this bold and eyecatching layout from chocochoco named Quirky and nominated by Amber.  Gloria is known for her mega clusters and is in fact our reigning Miss Clusterqueen, however the focus in this layout is that great photo sitting on the fabulous background. You have to be brave to use a background like that and it works perfectly with that photo, the sunglasses element and the title. I also love how she planned that banner in line with the doodles underneath it, gives the layout even more depth.

Next up are 2 layouts from misses M.  This first one was nominated by Jhari who has this to say “Brushes, elements, borders, clustering and shadowing is stunningly beautiful!” I love all the grungy, painted, scattered goodness that perfectly compliment that wonderful photo.

The 2nd one from misses M is this heartfelt layout nominated by Jill who does not hold back with her praise “There is so much to love about this layout by misses M … the placement of the owls on the title – the way the ellies run vertical and horizontal on the page — the fun papers bring it all together! LOVE IT!”  I just love how she puts her heart out there in this layout. So sweet and so romantic!

Catgoddess nominated this next layout from new member, Jan in Alberta with this glowing comment “I think this is fabulously creative! I love everything about it.” That blend is fabulous, I love that it is about her, and the placement of the blingy zodiac element as if it was wrapped around her ear (do you remember ear wraps?) is just perfection.

Last up is this striking layout by fonnetta nominated by shaynesgirl for its striking and beautiful photos.  I love that the big picture design, the starburst around that big photo is perfect and the small photos show us the story leading up to the it all.
