Gallery Standout Showcase

Hello, and thanks for stopping in to check out this week’s Gallery Standouts.  It has been another great week in the gallery with so many beautiful layouts and so much inspiration.

First up is this gorgeous layout by LRaeWoo.  Jhari nominated this beauty and said, “The photo is just beautiful and her clustering is stunning.”  The black and white photo treatment combined with the kit colors create such a soft dreaminess.

Next we have an emotional, but wonderful layout by estir_bune.  Michelle (msbrad) said it perfectly when she chose this layout, “This page packs a punch of less is more.”   The rainbow behind the gray clouds offer a nice sense of hope.

Amanda gave the shout-out to this fun RTS challenge layout by dodiegonzales!  “Love the color on the photos and her crown placement is perfect.” commented Amanda.  The different photo treatments and mix of alphas for the title are great!  If you like these colors, you’ll surely like the ScrapMatters’ latest Facebook freebie (wink, wink).

“Love this LO about simple socks and awesome journaling too!!” said Amanda when she returned to point out this fun layout by kimpson.  I like the vellum journal block and wooden arrow pointing to the mismatched socks!

Jhari came back with more shout-outs and treated us to this wonderful layout by Cheryl (gonewiththewind).   She said, “Look at those elements. Stunning and beautifully made. I so love the way she put all those word art all together. Made sense and at the same time still within her layout’s scope. I LOVE IT!”

Last, but not least, is this super fun layout by Mary.  “I just saw this one by Mary and I have to say it made me giggle because of the title. I love her use of the speech bubble and a different take on the kit.” said Kate (mom2my2monkeys).  It made me laugh, too, and reminded me why I don’t help my daughter with her homework!

Those are just some of the standouts in this week’s GSO thread.  All are linked to the gallery for leaving some love and full credits.  Thanks again for stopping by and if you celebrate St Patrick’s Day, don’t forget to wear some green tomorrow!
