Your challenge for today … white space! Scrap a page that has white space! The term “white space” refers to an area devoid of photos, embellishments, journaling, and title. White space provides a resting point for the eye and breathing room for the viewer taking in your photos and journaling.

Happy Friday, ScrapMatters friends!  Annisa (lionsimba) here to describe today’s SM challenge.   This challenge is all about love!  All you have to do is include the word “love” somewhere in your layout.  It can be in the title, the journaling, or anywhere else you can sneak it in.

Kayla aka keepscrappin here with today’s challenge, so dust off those scissors and warm up the printer cuz we’re going hybrid today.

7. Let’s get hybrid: Create a Valentine! It can be a traditional card, a candy wrapper cover or something else!

I decided to keep it simple today and used Simply J Studio’s Pillow Box Template and the February Mix-a-kit items from Down This Road Designs.

Just clip your papers to the template and print on cardstock.  Then, sized the heart to fit on the pillow box and turned off all the other layers.  Then I printed the heart on a separate sheet of cardstock.  Cut them out and tied the box with a little string for a quick and easy pillow box to put a little treat in for my sweet heart.  Gotta love simple and cute.

You don’t have to make a pillow box.  You can make a card, candy wrapper, tag or whatever your heart desires, just make sure you print it out and take a photo of your creation so we can see your finished product.

It’s Heather (snowdrop), and today’s challenge is my favorite, Travel Scraps! This month, your challenge is to wrap-up your holidays by scrapping a page about your Christmas or Winter Vacation! You don’t have to have traveled far, you can even scrap a staycation!

This December, I went to Florida. One of the things I did was go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Here is my layout, using Wizarding Magic, a ScrapMatters collab and SMD Font: Kim by Stolen Moments.

Hi all, Happy Thursday!  Carolyn here to bring you your inspiration for Challenge 19: Use a Black and White picture on your page. 

I have to admit that this WAS a bit of a challenge for me as I really love color photos.  But sometimes there is a particular kit that is perfect for my photo, but the colors just look horrible together.  That’s when a black and white photo makes all the difference. 

Here I was just LOVING Amber’s kit and wanted to smack every element in it on the page…I just love them all THAT much.  So, with all those papers and elements, my picture was lost.  Not anymore!  Once I changed it to black and white, it was much more visible on my busy page.  Here’s my layout that I had so much fun making with Just One Of  The Boys by Stolen Moments and Jenn Barrette Designs:
