May 6th Bingo Challenge – Weeding Your Garden

Sunday, May 6th, 2012

This month we have a flower theme for our challenges and as with flowers you will often find weeds. Let’s try weeding through our own gardens. Have a look around in your gallery and choose a layout of your own to scraplift. I chose to lift Fruit Truck from my own gallery.

This is the new layout that I created using Capture the Memory from Stolen Moments Designs.

Stefanie scraplifted this gorgeous Antigua page from her gallery…

and created this fun and creative page using Cluster It Vol2 from Mye De Leon and Imagination Creation from Stolen Moments and Studio Flergs.

Now it’s your turn to weed through your gallery and find a page to lift!

Happy iNSD – Challenge

Saturday, May 5th, 2012

Hello everyone,

#5 – Happy interNational Scrapbooking Day!  Since today is all about scrapbooking, your challenge is to scrap a layout about scrapbooking.

Interpret this however you like, but most importantly have fun with it!  Here’s my take on the challenge.

I scrapped about my love of digital scrapbooking and used the ScrapMatters Design Team Collab – Queen of Scrap.

And Krista used the same kit to scrap her scrapping obsession too.  hehe

I hope ya’ll find some time this weekend to grab some great deals in the shop and join in some of the fun in the forums.  Don’t forget to check out the whole list of May’s Bingo Challenges here, and play along this month for some fantastic prizes.

Take care and keepscrappin’

Welcome to today’s edition of the ScrapMatter’s Bingo Challenge.  Carol (Iowan) here with an ad inspiration challenge for you.  How does this Ad inspire you? Is it the colors, the composition, the spring theme? So let us get those creative juices going.

Here is my take on the ad.  I was inspired by the theme and the colors. For my page, I used Farmers Market by Kim Broedelet’s Graphics and Designs and Blueprints: Set 8 by True Blue Studio.

CT member, Krista was inspired by the outdoors scene in her wonderful layout

April 22, 2012 Bingo Challenge

Sunday, April 22nd, 2012

Hi all, Carolyn (calliclaire) to bring you today’s challenge:

Obscure Holiday Challenge – April 22 is “National Jelly Bean Day”, so use some candy on your LO.  What fun!  My kids LOVE candy (well, so do I)!  Here they are eating those fabulous ring pops that last forever and I am sure are SO not good for their teeth!  I used the awesome How Sweet It is by Amy Stoffel and Layer It Volume 2 Template Pack by Mye De Leon:

I LOVE this fun layout by Carol, using all those easter peeps on her page:

And here’s one from Chel with those delicious jelly beans:

Hope you have fun adding candy to your pages.  It does not have to include photos of candy.  You can do something like “As sweet as candy” for a title and then sprinkle candy all over your page!  Enjoy!  And don’t forget to join us in the other April challenges over here.

Happy Scrapping!
- Carolyn (calliclaire)

Today’s Challenge-April 21, 2012

Saturday, April 21st, 2012

Good evening everyone! Debby(debbysrose),blog editor, here with today’s (well more like this evening’s) ScrapMatters Bingo Challenge. Since Easter used to be all about the hats women wore, I wanted to challenge you to do a list layout about all the hats you where. The first layout I have for you is from our Creative Team member, Stefanie(Eyeore). She created My Life using Stolen Moments fabulous new vintage circus kit First of May. I love to read Stefanie’s journaling, she is a great writer and tells wonderful stories in her layouts.

Next is my layout, The Hats Mothers Wear using Amy Stoffel’s gorgeous Fiddlesticks

I will be watching the gallery to see how you scrap this challenge. You can find the full list of April’s challenges here. There is plenty of time to join in the fun and get your bingo cards ready for the April Bingo Chat on May 3. Watch the forum for more info.

4/19 – It’s About Time!

Thursday, April 19th, 2012

Yes, it’s time once again for my favorite challenge – It’s About Time!  Time to drag out those photos that are more than a year old that you haven’t scrapped yet.  And I know we all have those photos, so no backing out of this challenge!

My family LOVES Disneyland, and we’re about to return for another visit this Summer.  The only problem is that I haven’t yet finished scrapping the trip from 2 years ago, and I definitely need to get that done before heading through the turnstiles of the park.  I chose to scrap about our hotel, using Stolen Moments Designs gorgeous goodies, Beautiful on the Inside and SMD Font: Kimby.

Here are the pages done by our marvelous Creative Team.

From Chel

From Holly

From Krista

From Annisa

Well, that’s it!  I think it’s about time to wrap up this blog post so you all can do some scrappin’.  Here’s the full list of challenges for April.  Jump in anytime and join us for lots of fun and scrappin’.  Jan (QuiltyMom)

April 18 Bingo Challenge – Travel Challenge: use a Map on Your Layout

Wednesday, April 18th, 2012

Welcome to today’s edition of the ScrapMatter’s Bingo Challenge. Carol (Iowan) here with a travel layout challenge for you. When I am getting ready to travel, whether it is somewhere in Iowa or to a foreign country, I will get out a map to plan my trip. The layout below shows the many roads (highlighted in yellow) we traveled while on a vacation to Ireland. We obtained this Ireland tourism map upon arrival to Dublin. There are all kinds of maps on the internet and many of our designers include great maps in their travel kits. So today’s challenge is to add a map to your layout.

For my page, I used Amy Stoffel’s Pasted & Pinned:  Bon Voyage Big Bundle.

Kairyn has a wonderful page from her recent trip to Puerto Rico. She also used Pasted & Pinned: Bon Voyage.

Krista has great example for you.  Check out her fabulous journaling.

I look forward to seeing your layouts in the gallery. Check HERE for all the April Bingo Challenges!
