Hello Everyone!! Melissa here! Time for another challenge, are you ready?
Hopefully this challenge will inspire you to get those creative ideas going! I was browsing one of my favorite websites (MAC Cosmetics) I absolutely looooooove their makeup, that is all I wear! Anyways, I was needing to order another foundation, when I came across an advertisement that inspired me to scrap! So I figured it would be fun to create a challenge and see what advertisements other people get inspired from.

The way this is going to be done is easy. First, find an ad from one of your favorite products.

Here is mine:

(I just love looking at how they do their makeup-I’m so obsessed! LOL)

Then, create a layout using your favorite scrap kit. The items I used are from a kit that I will be releasing this month, so you all get a sneak peak during this challenge!

*Note: You have to post the ad that inspired you along with your layout and a description of what inspired you.

Post your LO in the gallery and leave a link to your LO in the forum here.  I’ll pick my favorite layout for the winner, and also a random drawing will be held, both will win a $5 GC to ScrapMatters!!

Sorry about all of the recent computer problems.  We tried to fix them through using the backup on our server, which worked out ok, except 1) we somehow lost a day of posts and 2) they forgot to turn our site back on after they restored it using the backups, so instead of being down for one hour, we were down for 12 hours.  Sorry again about any inconvenience this may have caused you.  If you emailed me and your email bounced back, please resend it.  I will reply asap.

Morgan here…This week we are putting the spotlight on Andrea, the creator and owner of ScrapMatters! Andrea has worked so hard to make ScrapMatters a warm, inviting place to share ideas, meet new people, and post layouts! She is very dedicated to her work and her talent is easily seen in her designs and in her own layouts! She is especially talented at preserving old family pictures in her layouts. Hello Scrappers–Andrea here. Today is a super special day–it’s my youngest’s birthday! We’re on our way out to celebrate so I’ll have to make this short.
