Hi everyone, Andrea here.  Sad to say our site couldn’t handle all of the Black Friday traffic.  There was an error in our shopping cart at the server, a very important file that makes sites like ours go fast when the file is working correctly and “glacially slow” when it isn’t was missing. We tried to make sure that everything was working great before the sale, we had recently upgraded our server and our CPU, but we didn’t even know we were missing the speed enhancing file until things really slowed down. Now we know and have fixed that problem, but since computers seem to have gremlins,  and we’re bound to have another problem, we’re hoping that the next problem that comes along is easy to fix and won’t cause as many problems as the missing file. Thanks so much for your patience this weekend.  I really do apologize for any inconvenience the site slow down may have caused you.

I, along with the other ScrapMatters’ designers, don’t think that you should miss out on the bargains just because our server couldn’t keep up.  So I’m happy to extend the 30% off sale for one more day, until 11:59 pm on Dec 1st Pacific Time.  Then the sale will be finished, we’re just going to skip the 20% off day.
